Flagstaff Arboretum Fungi foray

Please join us for an opportunity to learn about local fungi in the Flagstaff area. This event includes an evening lecture followed by a foray to look and learn about local fungi the next morning.

-- Registration will open Monday, July 22 at 9:00 a.m. --

In order to accommodate as many people as possible, we will be hosting two different lectures on the evening of Friday, August 23rd. The first session will occur at 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm. The second session will begin at 6:00 pm and conclude at 8:00 pm. Both sessions will include a short tour of the Flagstaff Arboretum mushroom garden followed by a lecture on... you guessed it, fungi! There will be no food service as part of this event, but beer and wine will be for sale.

The following morning on Saturday, August 24th, there will be group forays led by local fungi experts. If you are registered for one of the lectures, you will automatically be included in a group foray. Group sizes are limited, and we expect each group to include approximately 25 participants. All registered participants will be sent e-mails on where and when to meet approximately a day prior to the foray.
