We appreciate donations and bequests from our members or any other interested benefactor. Your contributions will be used strictly for scientific, educational and charitable purposes, such as paying the expenses for outside experts and speakers to attend our public meetings and forays. 

You may also earmark your donations for certain specified uses such as:

• The Dr. Chester Leathers Graduate Student Scholarship Fund that honors our Founding President Emeritus, Chet Leathers. This fund makes an annual award to a deserving graduate student in a mycology-related field of study in an Arizona university.  
  
• Aid to the White Mountain Apache Tribe, on whose ancestral lands we do much of our mushroom hunting.
• The AMS COVID-19 relief fund, to provide memberships for your fellow mushroom hunters who otherwise could not afford the expenditure due to pandemic-related financial difficulties.

The Arizona Mushroom Society, Inc., is an Arizona non-profit corporation that qualifies for tax-deductible treatment under the regulations of Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3). Your donation may be deducted from taxable income on your income tax return.
