AMS is sharing an opportunity to attend a lecture by Dr. Barry Pryor on the details of getting the most out of oyster mushroom cultivation. If you are getting into oyster mushroom cultivation, or interested in what types of factors affect this effort, this presentation is perfect for you.

Dr. Pryor, from the Division of Plant Pathology and Microbiology at the University of Arizona's Department of Plant Sciences will speak regardng the incredible nutritional benefits of eating mushrooms and key tips for growing oyster mushrooms. He has spent years researching the most efficient ways of cultivating common culinary mushroom species, and has developed some very effective methods for how to make the process efficient and results-oriented.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the lecture begins at 7:15 p.m. The first half hour will include live music performed by the classical pianist Ardith El-Kareh Fox.

They are requesting $2 per person donation at the door to help raise money for a microphone and projector for additional future presentations.
